About the ISO

2007-2008 Season

The Imperial Symphony Orchestra is indeed fortunate to be in a locale where audiences appreciate quality symphonic music. And, the ISO has a spectacular season of spectacular live orchestral performances lined up just for you.

Over the years, our goals of serving this community by providing musical experiences that challenge the senses and warm the heart haven't changed, and the orchestral literature selected especially for this season's musical buffet will do just that.

Without our audiences, the singing strings, whimsical woodwinds, boisterous brass, and powerful percussion would not survive even the shortest of overtures. Your role as active listeners during each performance is key to our success. Did you know that sincere and supportive applause at a concert actually possesses a certain magic that elevates the orchestra to another level? It is a great feeling to know that we are the home team every concert.
