IMPERIAL SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA MISSION STATEMENT:

The Imperial Symphony Orchestra is committed to the high quality performance of symphonic music in order to educate, entertain, and inspire audiences and enrich the lives of the people of Polk County and neighboring communities.

ABOUT US:


The Imperial Symphony Orchestra is a regional community orchestra of approximately 80 musicians, mostly volunteer with an annual budget of $500,000, 3 full-time staff (including the Executive Director, Orchestra & Box Office Manager and Finance Manager) and 3 part-time staff (Music Director/Conductor; Concertmaster/Associate Conductor and Technical Coordinator).  We perform 5 Masterworks Concerts, 3 Outdoor Pops Concerts, 1 Family Concert and 1 fully-staged opera (our annual fundraiser) each season. Most of our performances take place in Youkey Theater, The Lakeland Center. The opera takes place at Branscomb Auditorium on the campus of Florida Southern College. Our outdoor pops concerts take place in Lake Mirror Amphitheater, Lakeland; Lake Silver Amphitheater, Winter Haven and Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales.  The ISO’s main office is located in beautiful Lakeland, FL.
